We're quite fond of the Escapes with the newer 2.5 liter 4 cylinder engine and 6 speed automatic transmission, as they have much better power than the old 2.3L version. In fact, they are as efficient as Honda CRV, yet they cost $3500-4000 LESS! What a super value! This particular Escape has been Mrs. North's personal vehicle for the last year.
